Yes, it is November.
So much has changed in this past year. With as much that has been going on, I'm so grateful for the things I can look back on and say, "I don't regret that." or "I am truly grateful for that."
Here are a few of my FAVORITE things that I can say I'm truly grateful for. Grateful to know, grateful to have experienced, grateful that it just..happens.
-My family. I would be absolutely nowhere without them.
-My gospel, and the reassurance it gives me that I am loved, always.
-My school. DHS is such a classy, fantastic, and overall SUPERB school to be attending. I love every second of it. (Except the seconds that I'm actually in class. I only love those a little bit. ;) )
-My friends. Because of a little shift in friends recently, I've become super thankful for the ones who I know I can count on and who will be there for me for forever.
-Warm weather.
-The ability to CHOOSE YOURSELF, FOR YOURSELF (being UNIQUE). I'm so glad everyone is not the same.
-Warm weather.
-Food. Just...food.
-Humor. And smiles.
-Music! I don't play...like almost at all...but I love the feeling it gives me. I love new songs, old songs, and just tuning out the world for a sec and LISTENING.
-Leadership, as dumb as that sounds. I'm thankful for the chance I've gotten in these past...4 or so years to go to endless conferences and LEARN. (I like learning.) I've learned so many new things from the speakers and the people that have attended them with me.
-Warm weather.
-Not snow. Today at least.
-Technology. Gosh. Can you IMAGINE life without it? BLAH.
-Endless memories, moments and times I've had with everyone I've known, but mostly with my family and my best friends. I look back on this year, and without them, it honestly would have been SO HARD. I love them with all my heart.
This is not the end, but this is just a little list of my favorite things.
:)
